Just recently I went to physio and had acupuncture done and as usual it makes my arms feel rubbery, clumsy and unprotected. I try to avoid doing anything to make this feeling worse as I know the next day this will feel alot better the next day. So I went home and chilled out until it was time to help make dinner and hubby comes home. As my arms were feeling pretty good and it was nice out instead of sitting around at home bored out of my mind I decided to go for a walk. Why not?? Off I went, and quickly I realized that as my arms were swinging at my side I felt a lot of pressure building up in my elbows and it kept on building and spreading out into my forearms. I didn’t think much of it as like always I will be fine tomorrow! Yup?? …oh hell no!!

Why on god’s green earth did I go for a walk? I could not sleep that night as just the contact with my arms was not good and kept me up at night, and in the morning it’s still hanging around. Like seriously all I did was go for a walk. I contemplated dropping an email to my physio but…at the same time I am trying to wait this out. Come Thursday (2 days) I am like this is not cool. So i fire off an e-mail letting him know what is going on partially because I will forget to tell him about this recent drama. Telling him that my pain is radiating into my arms and forearms and into my palms. As per usual this eventually calms down and we return to status quo. When I discuss this at my next appointment and I found out that I shouldn’t be doing anything major with my arms at that time as it will make things feel a lot worse as the arms are kind of “re-setting” themselves. Who would have thought a walk would have been bad for the body and mind?? Aren’t they supposed to be good for you?? Motion is lotion and all??? As I was leaving after my acupuncture this time i was told ……no walking today!
