It’s been a weekend filled with demands of belly rubs, walks etc.   I’m trying to pace myself along with those constant demands. I find them hard to refuse, and they

know it.  But sometimes you just have to, because I am already starting to feel it in my arms and hands. If I don’t stop being weak to their cute eyes and silly antics I will be paying for it. Slow and steady wins the race, and I just have to keep the pace! Well I can tell you that I made it with belly rub pacing but when it comes to cleaning I just can’t pace.   I just want it done.  We tried to manage and keep the doggie hairs to a minimum by sweeping them up regularly but still vacuumed up 2 containers full.   Crazy how they shed!   Once the weekend visit was done, out comes everything! Furniture gets moved and floors get vacuumed and washed, everything get’s dusted, bedsheets get changed and washed.  It’s a process but at that point the flare bear is just waiting to strike and he did into my arms and shoulders perhaps not as grandly as he would have liked but he did and he stayed.

Thankfully my husband says nothing as we both want things tidied up so it’s a group of 2 effort and it all gets done until the next time.  As per usual I have my rest day that hopefully doesn’t fill up with stuff and nonsense like it usually does.   But we will take the chance that it doesn’t ….
