The day involved a successful team walk with 26 participants, followed by exhaustion from the event and personal errands. Later, a long sleep was disrupted by discomfort and reminiscence of travel frustrations.

Hot flashes…menopause
The writer experienced intense and frequent hot flashes after missing doses of medication meant to suppress them. Hormone therapy is an option, but it may cause migraines, which could be complicated by existing pain treatment. Further medical tests are needed to determine the next steps.
