Is Busy good? Or Bad?

Wow wow wow…what a busy weekend and to be honest I’m a tad bit exhausted.  I’m not used to being so busy but at the same time it was nice to be that way!   All things considered I think it was a successful one as I was busy everyday and no flares from the bear.    No complaints here my friends but it does keep me on edge.   The first night we went out to friends and we sat around until late and chatted and joked with others.   I could feel my shoulders and neck stiffening up and I thought oh here we go, I will pay for this at some point.

But surprisingly not a peep from the man that keeps me on the edge of my seat.  I woke up later than usual the next morning as I tend to do with a later night but I did wake with a headache.   Funny thing was that I went to bed with a small one and woke with a bigger one.   Took my meds like always and waited to see if it would help….nope, so an hour later I was digging in the cookie jar for more meds.   That seemed to help the wee beastie of a migraine that was developing so I was happy as another busy day was on tap for us.  This time we spent it with short visits to family and that turned out ok as well but come 9pm.  I was wiped out.  When you watch TV and nothing is registering you get up and put yourself to bed.

The next day again we are booked solid with my son and his fiancé and watching their softball game afterwards a visit with my besties, the dogs.     Had some quality time with them and it was time to go home as we were expecting company for fireworks.  The only thing I have noticed lately is that when someone offers me a drink and hands me a glass full.  I have had to ask for either a smaller one, or a lighter one.  I feel like a toddler with a heavier one as I need to hold the glass with two hands.   Also i cannot stand there and hold on to it during a conversation.  I need to put it down on the closest surface around as prolonged holding will cause my elbows and arms to flare.  But i did manage it alright I think.  However due to that and leaning up on my arms on a  picnic table and leaning on them against a table or counter for a period of time my elbows and forearms got flared up that was the only thing that got flaring not horribly bad but enough to file a complaint in the memory bank ….have no fear physio is here, tomorrow.
