Help ME !!!! I have entered the 7th circle of Dress shopping hell !!!

Yup I overdid it according to the laws of the flare bear 1hr and a bit of dress shopping was too much.   That’s right, 1 hour of flipping through dress racks and I am toast .

He did give me the benefit of dramatic effect as to whether I will flare or not and at bedtime I knew it and this morning I am feeling shoulders, arms, neck, as well as lack of sleep from overdoing it.   So what did I do yesterday?   Hmmm I drove to the grocery store, did some shopping, went to an appointment and then I went to lunch with mom which was my rest period for all the physios out there and then dress shopping.  What makes me flare up dress shopping

is leafing through the dresses on the racks looking up and down for longer periods than I would like.  The racks are not in the most ideal position for my neck.  I am sure my posture played into all of this as well. The longer dresses are higher up because the stores don’t want the bottoms of them being wrecked (like my neck and shoulders)  as well as them being squished on the rack like sardines so that they are at maximum capacity.  Then you need to push them harder away from each other to be able to see what they look like.  Once you manage to harvest a few off the rack then you need to try them on.  If they have zippers you are golden but still if you need to bend over too many times it’s no fun. Also If they are over the head multilayer fancy things I can get lost in them easily and then I need to send help because even a scout leader needs a helping hand getting out to the other side.  This is when I wish I was rich and I could go into the shops, be served a coffee, sit in a comfy chair and have the dresses presented to me.  Say yes, no, have them all boxed up and then carried out by a lackey and on to the next place.  Needless to say, I avoid shopping if I can. I never really liked it before when I could do it but now when I have to do it because the kiddos are getting married and occasionally you need to dress up it’s a challenge and we will graciously accept it and move on and the flare bear will release his grasp eventually and we will happy again for now we will rest and carry on with the rest of the day and see what else it will bring. Shopping in a regular store for clothes always comes with it’s challenges but not as much as dress shopping. That is a biggie for me and a struggle to boot.
