Here take this,  oh and this hurts ok then take this…..you know the drill after a while you end up with a mountain of meds and your looking at it and it’s starting to get to the point where it getting to be unmanageable.  I was forgetting what to take when and I considered for a hot second getting my meds put into containers for the week you know the ones I’m talking about with the days of the week listed on them SMTWTFS and then the pills stuffed in them just to keep organized. Then I spoke with some of my Dr’s and they agreed that perhaps I am taking too many meds.  I hate taking meds so this is when my ears perked right up to full I’M LISTENING mode.

Perhaps you can try taking yourself off some of your medication if you think it’s not helping.  How do you know if it’s helping or not?   In my case I try and take away a pill (smallest dosage) for a bit and see if there is no difference and no side effects then lather rinse and repeat.  This conversation all came about  because I recently had an increase in my meds because of my fall and my numbness and tingling in my arms and hands is still happening so overall consensus was take that away again and see what happens.   It’s the same thing when you are trying out new modalities you can’t try them all at once because you won’t know what’s working and what is not.  I am currently trying out something new with someone new in the physio world with pelvic floor exercises and I totally flared up on her the first time I saw her. I was extremely upset by it as who would have thought that I would have flared up by doing kegel exercises.  Oh hold on …..right, please, pick me the one with the highly sensitized nervous system that we thought we calmed down a bit.  Hi Mr Flare Bear!
