It took the flare bear 3 acupuncture treatments 1 wk apart before he really came out to greet me. Otherwise he was there but he was a toned down version of his crotchety self ! 3 days after treatment there was a bit of radio silence and then he came back but he wasn’t the same. It was kind of nice! So I had a conversation with my hubby the other day. I told him I am feeling really good today ……and as soon as the words were out of my mouth I wanted to take them back! But I carried on and he asked me to run some errands for him. Went to my chiro appt and then for a 45min walk with a friend who I had a great time being silly with (can’t alway be serious) and did a bit of work on the blog. Come evening my one arm starts feeling twinges of baby lightning bolts going on and off. When I went to bed it was like someone left a tens unit on both of them at about power level of 6 or so but it was constant. So between that and the lovely hot flashes it was CHAOS!. This went on for most of the night so I don’t need to say that I didn’t sleep at all that night and this phenomenon goes away when I finally get up I hate you right flare bear ….here I am flipping and flopping on my bed like a fish out on the beach out of water my arms in varying positions to try and make your tens unit turn off and then lovely menopause comes into play and it is just a great time. Speaking of great times I did have a great day earlier so I take everything in stride up and down like a yo-yo we go. Take it as a win the muted flare bear days too and it’s not as bad as it seems. I just like to have a wee bit of sleep…. If not, the grumpy Stitch in me comes out!

As I have been resting during the day, I have noticed that the baby bolts in my arm come and go. It makes me not want to try and do anything but I did tidy up a bit and make dinner. However as the evening comes the bolts get worse so now i’m worried as to the shenanigans we are going to have going on at night. As I lied down in bed in my favourite position we had the bolts still happening and then slowly but surely they went away. I think that would be the first night of some solid sleep I had this week. Thank you flare bear for the gift of sleep!

However all week long we have had the baby bolts come out to play no rhyme or reason as to their comings and goings they just randomly pop up in the forearms and hang around for a bit and then run away. At least they are not ruining my sleep the rest I can manage. I have been there and done that many times so it’s not like they are new…but new for this time around.
